Spooky season on YourMoves.
For two weeks the step tracker that turns everyday walking into journeys along real routes, and into races with friends, puts on a Halloween costume. It switches on by itself, and anyone can turn it off, or on early, in Settings.

Today
A witch rides your ring.
The tip of your progress ring carries a witch on her broomstick, with Midnight the cat behind her. She flies round as your steps add up, waves and says something now and then, bursts ahead in a puff of smoke, looks back at the cat, who answers, and loops the loop.
- Night falls: while the look is on the app goes dark, with the moon, bats, an owl in a crooked tree and a house with one lit window. Prefer dusk? Pick Light under Settings › Appearance.
- At the end of Today, a ghost rises from the graveyard, and a zombie claws his way out, shambles over and moans about steps.
- Reach your goal and the party bursts with bats.
Friends
A graveyard podium.
The Friends board turns into a graveyard. The top three stand on tombstones in costume: a witch's hat for first, bat wings for second, cat ears for third. Now and then lightning cracks over the board.
Journeys
Two haunted walks.
Two new journeys for the season, with the true stories behind the legends at every stop. Your everyday steps carry you along the real route.
- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, 3 km through the country of Washington Irving's Headless Horseman, to the Old Dutch Church and the cemetery where Irving lies.
- Dracula's Road, 32 km from Brașov's Black Church to the castle sold to the world as Dracula's, with what's true about Vlad the Impaler and what Bram Stoker invented.
31 October
The notifications go trick-or-treating.
On Halloween itself the morning note, the afternoon nudge, the goal and Day done wear the season, each with its own picture.

A Halloween icon, and an off switch.
Our footprints as two little ghosts under a cobweb, one switch away; it changes back by itself in November. Not your thing? Turn the whole look off, or switch it on early from 1 October.
